Objectives:

  • Assess existing applications from information exchange point of view
  • Align the information exchange requirement of applications with business requirements of IR
  • Assess the technological bottlenecks of applications from data exchange point of view
  • Develop the standard common data exchange mechanism and framework for fast and seamless information exchange
  • Suggest possible changes in existing applications to enable them for data exchange as per proposed common data exchange mechanism
  • Document the standard data exchange mechanism that needs to be followed by the existing/future applications of IR

  • An in-depth analysis of different installed modems can reveal if the problem is immediately addressable or not

  • Study of SiC high-power devices for motor drive applications
  • Integration of SiC inverter with motor drive

Objectives:

  • Feasibility of utilizing chemical stabilisers in improving the swell-shrink characteristics of expansive soils
  • Assess the short-and long-term performance of chemically stabilised soils
  • Create suitability matrix for the effective stabilisation of weak subgrades / embankment materials
  • To understand the load-displacement characteristics of the chemically stabilised weak soils
  • To assess the stability and seepage issues using small-scale experimental and numerical studies

Objectives:

  • Development of GPS based and Vision based navigation for inspection operations. Fusion of these two methods would be presented.
  • Integration of object recognition feature.
  • Thermal camera interface for inspection operations during low light conditions.
